14 July 2020 – Alleyn’s Junior School development granted planning

A new development at Alleyn’s Junior School in Dulwich has been granted planning permission this week. ArchitecturePLB were appointed as the architects via a design competition to help the school increase the capacity of their infant and reception classes and redevelop their existing facilities. The new development will create a new hall and reception building, freeing up space within the existing building for additional classrooms. The existing building will be remodelled bringing the library, IT suite and multi-function room to the heart of the school alongside the required new classrooms.

UBU designed the landscaping strategy which will bring together the new and existing elements and include spill out spaces for the classrooms, and an adventure playground.
