15 October 2017 – Masterplan for post war housing estate regeneration in Wokingham gets off the ground

Ubu have been appointed by Wokingham Housing Ltd ( a subsidiary of Wokingham Council) as part of a team led by Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt, to develop a regeneration masterplan for Gorse Ride, a post war housing estate to the south of Wokingham. Originally built as temporary housing, the council owned homes are now below the standard the council would like, and the masterplan will see recommendation regarding redevelopment of the estate along with demolition of existing housing. This initial phase of work will be reported to the Council in early 2018.
