Technical Director

Richard is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 18 years’ experience in private practice. He has worked extensively for both public and private sector clients on a range of projects across numerous sectors; including residential, retail, leisure and public realm. Richard’s experience includes all stages of the design process from initial sketch ideas through to technical resolution and delivery on site.

Following an initial period with Stoke-on-Trent City Council Richard joined LDA Design where he worked for over 10 years, on a wide range of projects in multiple sectors. This included leading project teams on the successful delivery of a range of multi-million pound public realm improvement schemes.

In 2013 Richard relocated to the south coast, where most recently he worked for WYG in their Southampton office.

Richard’s appointment as Technical Director at UBU Design will strengthen and add to the existing skill set of the team.
