Horsebridge, Hampshire

The central focus of this 32 unit residential scheme on the edge of Horsebridge near Romsey is a new linear park with play facilities based on natural play principles, pivotal in helping create a sense of identity and community in this new development. The landscaping proposals also include frontage design for the new properties, a circular walk and green zone which form a buffer between the site and the wider countryside and an indicative layout for allotments. The scheme has also involved close collaboration with engineers to develop a SUD system, incorporating swales and attenuation ponds, which form part of the open space provision.

This is Phase one of what will be a larger development.
