Idle Rocks

Ubu was commissioned to design the external spaces for a proposed 5* hotel on the site of a former hotel ravaged by fire. The stunning cliff top location provides 270 degree coastal views and will comprise 35 luxury bedrooms, a spa and Michelin-starred restaurant. Ubu introduced a number of key features to integrate the development into this extremely sensitive coastal location, including eating terraces, roof gardens and green wall technology to help blend the hotel into its cliff top setting and enhance the coastline views.
