1 October 2024 – Winton Community Academy expansion now complete!

The expansion of the £5m expansion project at Winton Community Academy in Andover is now complete.

Winton Community Academy is a secondary school for children aged 11 to 16 and this expansion will create an additional 150 places, taking their planned admission number from 900 to 1,050.

The standalone new build extension adds two new laboratories connected with a prep room, two new maths classrooms, and a double-height multi-use hall that features a movable seating system, all to enhance the academy’s facilities.

Designed by Architecture PLB and with UBU crafted landscape, this project also feature alterations to the landscape to provide new south and west side courtyards, as well as a bicycle shelter.
