10 October 2019 – Baker Place shortlisted for an Inside Housing Development Award

We are delighted to see one of our projects, Baker Place has been shortlisted for another award, this time for an Inside Housing Development Award.

Ubu worked alongside OMI architects on this social housing development in Royce Rd, Hulme, Manchester, which consisted of 67 two-bedroom apartments and is now fully occupied.

A strong emphasis was placed on the well being of residents through a focus on landscape and generous private and communal external spaces, including a landscaped communal courtyard.  The overall landscape design approach and attractive planting scheme has really helped to bed the new blocks into the surrounding streetscape and deliver a great landscape for residents.

The Inside Housing Development Awards will be taking place on 27th November in London.
