12 March 2025 – High Leigh School is complete
The £11.4m High Leigh Primary School at Hoddesdon is now complete and will be open to children in the summer term this year.
This new two-form entry primary school, designed by ArchitecturePLB and with UBU landscape, will provide places for 420 pupils, including an integrated 30 place nursery. The scheme also includes a car park, sport pitches and soft landscaping
Hertfordshire County Council appointed McLaren Construction to do the build, replacing the existing one-form entry Westfield Community Primary School in Hoddesdon and providing additional space to serve the new High Leigh Garden Village where it’s located.
