12 September 2025 – Shenstone School now complete

The new Shenstone SEN School project in Belvedere is now complete and open for the new academic year, welcoming around 30 pupils to start before they expand their intake.

This project was designed by Clague Architects and delivered for the London Borough of Bexley by Construction partner Apex Contractors Ltd, in partnership with Shenstone School and TKAT Academies Trust.

This transformative scheme has created a brand-new all-through campus tailored to the needs of up to 160 pupils and includes numerous specialist facilities. The project involved the refurbishment of three existing buildings and the construction of a new two-storey teaching block, alongside extensive external and landscaping works, designed by UBU Design.

From sensory rooms and life skills spaces to a refurbished MUGA pitch and modern classrooms, the new campus is designed to support high-quality specialist education and inclusive learning.
