15 August 2021 – Baker Place wins a 2021 RIBA North West Award!

We are delighted to see one of our projects, Baker Place has won yet another award, this time a RIBA North West Award!

Ubu worked alongside OMI architects on this social housing development in Royce Rd, Hulme, Manchester, which consisted of 67 two-bedroom apartments and is now fully occupied.

A strong emphasis was placed on the well being of residents through a focus on landscape and generous private and communal external spaces, including a landscaped communal courtyard.  The overall landscape design approach and attractive planting scheme has really helped to bed the new blocks into the surrounding streetscape and deliver a great landscape for residents.
