18 February 2022 – Portsmouth SEN School starts on site

Work has now started on site at the new SEN school in Portsmouth after planning permission was recently gained.

This new school will accommodate 66 pupils with ages ranging from 9-16 year olds, who have highly specific special educational needs. 

The new school will employ 35 full-time staff who will use their skills and knowledge to help educate and develop pupils who require specialist help.

Ubu were appointed to provide the landscape design for this school working with architects Stride Treglown and construction partner Morgan Sindall.

The Landscape has been designed to meet the specific needs of the pupils, providing both education, sports and vocational facilities helping to enhance the educational offer and provide a comprehensive pupil experience.
