18 February 2026 – Planning secured for St Francis Catholic Primary School
The redevelopment of St Francis Catholic Primary School in Ascot has now secured planning approval with a unanimous committee decision.
The school provides education for children aged 4 to 11 years old and will be rebuilt through the Department of Education’s School Rebuilding Programme by contractors Galliford Try, replacing the existing building with a new two storey school.
The project, designed by Bond Bryan Architects, will deliver a new net-zero-in-operation primary school alongside enhanced external environments, including a multi-use games area, reconfigured parking and biodiversity-rich landscaping to support outdoor learning and play.
UBU is proud to be providing the landscape design for this School Rebuilding Programme scheme, creating inclusive, nature-led spaces that will support pupils, staff and the wider school community for years to come.
We look forward to progressing the project with the wider team.
