We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Landscape Architect to join our senior management team here at UBU. This is a Director level appointment

The position:
As a member of our senior managementteam you will help to lead the design process and the landscape architecture team to develop and implement innovative design solutions.
You must have excellent technical design capability and experience in working closely with architects, design teams and contractors to deliver outstanding and successful projects.
You will manage and contribute to all phases of the design process, from conceptualisation through to technical resolution and delivery on site.
You will manage and oversee site analysis and assessments to inform design decisions. You will importantly work closely and communicate with clients and consultants to ensure project success.
Remaining conversant with current industry trends, best practices, and sustainable design principles will be key to your contribution to the ongoing development and success of UBU within the sector
Your Qualifications and experience:
- Broad experience as a manager or Director, including team leadership, tendering, development of client relationships, site working (inspections and planning)
- Be a fully Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) or be on your pathway to this
- Strong technical knowledge, including UK design standards and regulations
- A good understanding of the planning application process
- Comprehensive understanding and experience of all project stages and the design process
- Excellent project management abilities, including the design and delivery of projects in the UK across RIBA Stages 0 – 6
- Proficient in the use of software platforms including, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Have a minimum of 3 years UK professional working experience
- Be able to manage a team and deliver to deadlines
- Have an understanding of LVIA’s and EIA’s
