20 August 2019 – Baker Place shortlisted for a Brick Award!

We are delighted to see one of our projects, Baker Place has been shortlisted for a 2019 Brick Awards in the ‘Medium Housing Development’ category.

Ubu worked alongside OMI architects on this social housing development in Royce Rd, Hulme, Manchester, which consisted of 67 two-bedroom apartments and is now fully occupied.

A strong emphasis was placed on the well being of residents through a focus on landscape and generous private and communal external spaces, including a landscaped communal courtyard.  The overall landscape design approach and attractive planting scheme has really helped to bed the new blocks into the surrounding streetscape and deliver a great landscape for residents.
