20 Dec 2018 – Wildflower rich university accomodation scheme receives Planning

Our ‘town house’ style student housing scheme in Colchester received a unanimous approval at planning committee. The 135 bed scheme for Osborne, is made up of an unusual mix of 7 and 9 bed town houses, arranged around a landscaped green, which includes external seating and socialising spaces. Each unit will house a student ‘family’. The landscape approach is very much to knit the scheme into this semi rural location using wildflowers and species rich grasslands, and utilising and enhancing the native species hedges to provide a natural and relaxed student setting.
