28 February 2025 – Worthing Integrated Care Centre is now complete!

The new state-of-the-art Worthing Integrated Care Centre (WICC) is now complete!

Located at the back of Worthing Town Hall, the previous Central Clinic site was demolished by contractor Galliford Try to make way for the new one-stop shop facility.

This £34 million development in the town’s Civic Quarter was designed by ArchitecturePLB and with Ubu landscape.  Funded by Worthing Borough Council, the new centre brings together a range of health and care services under one roof and will co-locate a pharmacy, community services, and a GP practice alongside mental health teams, enabling more joined-up care. Its proximity to the town hall, library, and crisis café will further improve access to wider support for the local community.

This is the culmination of a long-term aspiration to make the most of this underutilised brownfield site in a highly accessible location in the middle of Worthing, as well as to deliver long overdue improvements to health care provision in Worthing.
