30 September 2025 – Infinity Labs starts on site

Infinity Labs, a flagship project at the University of Southampton Science Park, is now underway on site.

UBU are pleased to be providing the Landscape Design on the new Infinity Labs, a £16 million laboratory and office facility, designed by ArchitecturePLB.

Following the ground breaking ceremony in late July, construction is progressing with groundworks emerging, delivered by Amiri Construction.

Curved in shape, the three-storey building will activate a sweeping bend at the main entrance to the site and feature a sloping green roof, helping to embed the structure within the landscape and enhance biodiversity onsite. A fabric first approach supports the Park’s sustainability objectives for a low-energy, low-carbon building.

Once complete, Infinity Labs will provide state?of?the?art laboratory and office space, supporting scientific discovery and driving growth for the South Central economy.
