8 October 2019 – Pegasus Cobham

UBU have been appointed by Pegasus Life to deliver the externals for a new retirement development in Cobham, Surrey.  The site is currently a derelict commercial office building formally known as The Glashaus.

Pegasus Cobham will provide 53 one, two and three bed retirement properties and comprise of two nearly identical apartment blocks which are linked by a communal pavilion.

Working with Coffey architects we have developed a number of key entrance and garden spaces, with a new communal walled garden which will be framed through a new glass pavilion at the heart of the scheme.

The design and landscaping brief aimed to maximise views to the historic Painshill Park and adjacent Bowling Green, to mirror the surrounding landscape within the site and provide a sense of security and ownership with the walled garden.
