23 May 2019 -BSN (Bishop’s Stortford North) Primary School.

Work has started on site to build a new three form entry primary school for Hertfordshire County Council.

To meet the rise in demand, the county council wants to establish up to five forms of entry across two primary schools and a six form entry secondary school.

More than 2,000 homes are planned for Bishop’s Stortford North, meaning more school places are needed .

The school is split over 2 levels with the school on the upper level and the playing fields on the lower level allowing for a terraced seating arena. The hard play area will sit next to the school with plenty of area for active play.

This challenging site has been designed to balance cut and fill and enable the slope to be used to provide both level and sloping areas to maximise the play potential for future students.
