High Leigh School
The new £11.4m High Leigh Primary School at Hoddesdon is a two-form entry primary school, designed by ArchitecturePLB and with UBU landscape. It will provide places for 420 pupils, including an integrated 30 place nursery. The scheme also includes a car park, sport pitches and soft landscaping
Hertfordshire County Council appointed McLaren Construction to do the build, replacing the existing one-form entry Westfield Community Primary School in Hoddesdon and providing additional space to serve the new High Leigh Garden Village where it’s located.
The school will be welcoming pupils in the 2025 summer term.
