Le Grand Bouet

Ubu was appointed by Guernsey Housing Association on the development of a new 83 unit estate in Guernsey’s capital, St Peter Port. The proposals involved the demolition and replacement of an existing estate which had reached the end of its useful life span.

Ubu worked closely with architects Lovell Ozanne to design an estate based on the Home Zone concept. A vibrant, community-oriented space will be created that minimises vehicle impact. A number of interstitial play and social spaces for residents will enrich the scheme.
