15 August 2026 – New Play space Completed at Endeavour School

The new play space at Endeavour School in Brentwood, Essex, is ready for pupils to enjoy as they return for the new term.

UBU has provided landscape design services for the redevelopment of the SEN school, which has been designed to create a modern and supportive learning environment for 120 pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD).

Having first shared news of construction starting on the project in 2024, it is fantastic to now see the new play equipment and surfacing in place, creating an engaging and inclusive outdoor space for pupils.

The wider landscape proposals for the school include improved parking, a habitat area, external learning spaces, a courtyard and a new MUGA, helping to provide a variety of outdoor environments for learning, play and recreation.

With the newly seeded areas also beginning to establish, the landscape will continue to develop and mature over the coming months.

UBU is pleased to have worked alongside Galliford Try and Sovereign Design Play Systems to help bring the new playspace to life and to see another important part of the new school environment ready for use.
