16 November 2022 – Hythe Hospital Housing achieves planning permission

Planning permission has now been granted for Hythe Hospital Housing in the New Forest.

This new project will comprise of over 20 affordable homes adjacent to the site of Hythe and Dibden War Memorial Hospital. The scheme rationalises this part of the NHS estate, combining essential healthcare facilities with much-needed housing.

Ubu will be providing the landscape design for this new project, working alongside Architecture PLB. The housing development nestles into the steeply sloping topography, achieving major enhancements to the landscape, preserving the mature trees that surround the site and creating a pleasant setting for residents, whilst enhancing the setting of the health building.
